The Western-style house, which had been in ruins, was built in 1916. I was excited to see the eclectic style of Japan and the West made with the craftmanship of that time. I received it as a treasure, and about 20 years have passed since then.
We walked the mountains to find the right place, cleared away the bushes and put together the stones. We have been rebuilding it there, little by little, dreaming.
We have been dreaming of inviting people here to welcome them with the beauty of nature and our hospitality. The Guest house of Hospitality, a place to heal body and soul, is about to be completed.
While retaining the original structure and traces of the hands that made the building, we generously pour in all the techniques of today's craftsmen. With a hope for these architectural details to be passed on to the next generation.
wildflowers
Water is drawn, rockwork arranged, mountain paths created, and wildflowers planted. Butterflies increase, birds arrive, and dragonflies grow. The beauty and phenomena of nature become a wall.
